Wide-leg and baggy pants: the classic of the season

Wide-leg pants are still considered the basis of many fall looks. The pants go with knitwear, blouses and jackets and stay relaxed. An easy rule of thumb: wide at the bottom, calm on top. The top can be shorter or tucked into the waistband at the front, so that the waist stays visible.

How to try out a pant trend

You do not have to swap your whole wardrobe. Three steps are enough:

Choose one pair of pants. Take the style you like best and start with a color you already wear, such as black, brown or khaki.
Tops from your wardrobe. Sweaters, blouses and cardigans you already own will keep working.
Add a jacket. A bomber, trench coat or bouclé jacket gives the pants a clear finish.
